Divide by 0 Error in FRx

Have you ever gotten the “Divide by 0 Error” when you go to run a report in FRx Report Designer? And to top if off, then the report does not print. Other users can print FRx reports just fine, but for you, it happens on all reports. This error appears if you print to the DrillDown Viewer, to Excel, or to the Printer.
The error can be caused by a couple of issues:
- You do not have a printer set as a default printer on your workstation. Go to Control Panel, Devices and Printers, and verify a printer is selected as a default printer. If no printers are installed, the Microsoft XPS Document Writer works fine:
There is a default printer, but the printer driver is invalid.
Here are the correction steps, to avoid the Divide by 0 Error:
- Set a printer as a default on your workstation.
- Test a different printer and see if FRx works. If so, there is probably an issue with the other printer driver. Try reinstalling the printer to fix it.
