Dynamics CRM 2013 Enhancements
Posted by Donna Krizik on September 23, 2013
Are you excited about CRM 2013? We sure are! Microsoft Dynamics has made some small and significant changes all leading to a more efficient way to work and do it on the go. With the new release just around the corner, we thought we'd tell you about some of our favorite cool new features you can expect to see in October.
New Touch- Optimized Navigation
The new large-sized touch-optimized mobile experiences for Windows Phone 8, iPhone and Android phones; extends user access to CRM information with ability to swipe through forms and stages. Microsoft Dynamics has moved away from the “Ribbon” and Site Map (left-hand side navigation) to a thinner navigation bar.
All accounts, leads and contacts can now have an image associated with them. A simple upload and now you can put a name to a face.
Quick Create Forms
These quick forms allow you to enter data as quickly as possible. Let’s say you are working on one clients account but receive a call from a prospective client. You can easily click “Create” and enter a new contact without losing your place. These forms are made to enter the least amount but most important data so you can follow up with this prospect at a later time without losing much time or energy.
Workflow User Interface (UI)
This process oriented approach really helps while you work through your sales, service or business processes. Synchronous workflows will work on the same process framework. They can work everywhere both web and mobile, or through the CRM SDK.
