Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online 2015 Update 1 "Carina"

Posted by Jen Bieker on April 15, 2015

March 2015, Atlanta, GA – At Microsoft Convergence, it was announced that the next new update of Dynamics CRM is right around the corner and will be released sometime over the next month.

Many people are commenting that this is more than just an update, with such huge improvements, it’s more like a major revision of Dynamics CRM.

Here are the things I’m looking forward to in the Dynamics CRM Spring Update 2015:

Improved navigation and user interface options – YEAH!  Now faster and easier to find the information you need with new work areas, tiles, and recently viewed records and views.

Immersive Excel experience – smooth new design when exporting from Dynamics CRM to Excel.  Export up to 100,000 records, with all the formatting intact and open your spreadsheet from anywhere.

Embedded OneNote – take notes, pictures, drawings, and more from any device and automatically link to a Dynamics CRM record.

Custom themes and logos – keep your organization look and feel in Dynamics CRM without needing extra development code written.

Track email by folder – a new intuitive way to track incoming email activities – set up a tracking folder.  Tracked folders work with Exchange rules to easily manage your emails.

Mobile sales – new mobile phone app, with the same powerful options as the Dynamics CRM for tablets, included also is Cortana for voice commands.

Integrated Parature knowledgebase – extended knowledge base features that work even while you are in the middle of a case.
