Microsoft Dynamics CRM Planned Deprecations in Future Releases

Posted by Jen Bieker on July 28, 2016

There are some important information about changes coming in future releases of Microsoft Dynamics CRM.  Microsoft has released information about components soon to be deprecated in the next release(s) of Dynamics CRM.  You will want to ensure your system will work properly if you currently rely on any of these features.  We are unsure of the exact dates of deprecation – here is the statement from Microsoft on that:

Deprecation means that we intend to remove the feature or capability in a future "major" release of CRM. The feature or capability will continue to work and is fully supported until it is officially removed. This deprecation notification can span a few years. After removal, the feature or capability will no longer work. We are notifying you now so that you have sufficient time to plan and update your code before the feature or capability is removed.
