Microsoft Dynamics Management Reporter Upgrade Problems?
Posted by Ben Kaplan on August 24, 2015
As the Crestwood support team began upgrading Microsoft Dynamics clients with the newest version of the Management Reporter, they noticed a couple issues preventing them from finishing the job. Instead of allowing these issues to persist in the Microsoft community, we decided it was best to share our tips:
1. Microsoft PowerShell 3.0 or later is now required on Management Reporter server machines. Make sure to check what version of PowerShell your system is running and update it to 3.0 or later.
2. You may need to reboot your server when installing the new version of PowerShell. This will take some planning, so make sure to fit the server reboot into your IT schedule.
