On-Premise Dynamics CRM Release & New Microsoft Updates
Posted by Donna Krizik on October 24, 2013
Microsoft has a sweet Halloween treat for users this year. On Monday, Microsoft announced the on- premise version of Dynamics CRM 2013 will be generally available for purchase on October 31. Microsoft partners will also have the ability to offer hosted versions of Dynamics CRM 2013 to their customers at the end of the month. This release is designed to provide an enhanced user experience that allows better productivity and brings together Microsoft technologies in a nifty new package. Some of these technologies include the integration of Yammer, Lync and Skype. Microsoft also plans to release Dynamics CRM 2013 apps for Windows Phone, iPhone, and Android smartphones and other mobile devices within 30 days of the release.
In other news, Microsoft has collaborated with InsideView, which brings “Social Insights” to the cloud-based Microsoft Dynamics Online service. Social Insights puts real-time company and contact information from 300,000 sources into Microsoft Dynamics CRM, helping marketing, sales and account professionals engage more efficiently with prospects to close more deals as a result of less time researching and more time selling. Here’s a quick peek into what Social insights will look like in the new Dynamics CRM 2013.
