What is Hotprinting in Greentree?

Posted by Kim Norman on June 2, 2016

Glad you asked!! There are actually 3 classifications of printing in Greentree.

  1. Windows Based Printing
  2. Hotprinting
  3. Printing via the Task Queue

For today…we’ll discuss Hotprinting. This method allows a user to print relevant documents directly from within data entry programs such as invoices, credit notes, checks, etc. From an entry window, the printer icon is clicked and it will send the appropriate document to the designated printer.

Configuration Checkpoints:

Hotprint must be enabled within the relevant module control. A printer must be set up in the task queue from the workstation. Hotprint must be enabled in the user preferences. Assign the workstation printer in the hotprint setup section in user preferences.
