Convergence – April 24-27 in Atlanta
What are the top 5 reasons for attending Convergence?
1. See Dynamics GP 2010 and all the features and benefits from upgrading
2. Network with other users in your industry using the same products as you every day
3. FREE support. Bring all your support questions and lingering issues to the support team set up to answer all your questions all day all 4 days of the conference
4. Need CPE for your CPA requirements – Convergence provides that for you
5. ISV Expo – have a specific need that can link information to your GP or CRM system? Explore all the add-ons products at the Expo.
This year it is in Atlanta and promises to be very exciting with the release of Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010 in May and CRM 5.0 in Q4. Find out more and take advantage of the early bird registration (save $300) until March 3:
Mekorma MICR Webinar February 16 – 11:30 – 12:30
Buy only blank check stock and print from all your GP checkbooks using MICR magnetic toner and your laser printer. Print signatures automatically on your checks. Need two signatures over a certain dollar amount? MICR can handle this all in a secure fashion within the regular GP Accounts Payable window. Sign up for the free Mekorma MICR demo at http://www.clicktoattend.com/?id=145668 or contact Debra Magera dmager@crestwood.com to register.
Training
The agenda will cover all the basics of creating FRx reports - Row Formats, Column Layouts, Reporting Trees, and Catalog of Reports. Contact Mary Lenehan at mlenehan@crestwood.com for more information.
Tips for FRx Reports
Busy creating reports for the auditors? Remember FRx can help you provide the electronic copies of information they need:
1. Create a trial balance in Excel. We know the Trial Balance in GP doesn’t export nicely to Excel, but FRx can create a nice Trial Balance by pulling in Account numbers, Descriptions and Debits and Credits as well as beginning and ending balances.
2. Need a new report quickly and have it already in Excel? Copy and paste into column B in the Row Format and you have the descriptions all ready. Be sure to use spell check!
3. Remember to point to your 2010 budget in the Actual vs. Budget reports in the Column Layout. They may still be on 2009.
