Protecting the Numbers That Run Your Business

How Acumatica teams are closing the gaps in order accuracy and record control

This session covers two places where financial exposure quietly builds inside Acumatica: purchase orders coming in from customers via PDF with no validation, and master record changes happening without approval or audit trail. We walk through both problems and show how the Sales Order Agent and Master Record Approvals close them, live inside Acumatica.

Problem we are trying to solve?
Financial professionals in Acumatica companies carry risk in two places standard Acumatica does not fully protect. First, inbound: when customers send purchase orders as PDFs, someone keys them in by hand, and pricing errors, wrong items, and missed discrepancies flow directly into the system unchecked. Second, internal: sensitive financial records like customer credit limits, pricing, vendor payment terms, and account data can be changed inside Acumatica by anyone with access, with no approval step and no audit trail. One problem is about what gets into the system. The other is about what changes inside it. Both create financial exposure the controller or CFO has to absorb after the fact.

Audience?
Controllers, CFOs, finance directors, and AP/AR managers at mid-market distribution and manufacturing companies on Acumatica. People who are responsible for the accuracy of financial data and the integrity of the operations that run on top of it. Not IT. Not ops. The person who sees the downstream consequences when something goes wrong.
